The next Welcome Baby Parties planned in Chittenden County are: (Spring 2007)

Welcome Babies! We work to contact every family who welcomes a new baby to their home in Chittenden County to welcome you and let you know we care.  Building Bright Futures of Chittenden County sends a letter from the community to offer a Welcome Baby Bag with presents, parenting, child development and health information.   A member of your community can bring it to you, or you can pick it up.  If you, like our parent visitor can help you look through the bag to match what you need with the resources out there - from the best baby-friendly playgrounds in town to where to look for child care, to your local playgroup. 

Welcome Baby Party! Each community in Chittenden County hosts an annual Welcome Baby party for all the families who have new babies that year.   It’s a chance to meet the families your child will grow up with, find about the resources in your community and celebrate the newest members of your community!   Often these parties are connected with your local library and take place in the Spring.
