For children ages three to five in Vermont, Essential Early Education (EEE), a program in the school districts provides services. They offer screening, evaluation, service coordination and intervention services to families who want them and are eligible. In Chittenden County you can contact your local school district or download the EEE list for the Essential Early Education contact person in your area. This list is update each fall when the school year starts. In Vermont, children ages three to five are eligible for intervention services if they have a 40% delay in their development or a health condition that impacts their learning.
